and Altron [Aberdare Cable (Pty) Ltd] merged on 1 February 2007 following the
earlier approval of the proposed merger by the Competition Tribunal.
The merged entity, to be known as CBI Electric: Aberdare ATC Telecom Cables (Pty) Ltd
("new company"), will be located at and operate from the existing Reunert facility in Brits,
