This easy access joint closure is a watertight re-enterable splice and jointing system for copper cables.

The closure which is approved by telecommunication authorities, is manufactured from totally non-corrosive and mechanically tough materials suitable for all network environments and can be re-entered at any stage without use of re-entry materials.

The ready access closure is available in two versions:

• Short dome cover for up to 100 pair cable joints
• High dome cover for up to 200 pair cable joints

The closure base is fitted with 3 pairs of knockouts to accommodate a wide range of cable diameters and 6 individual compartments for separate resin filling, allowing additional cables to be introduced
through unused compartments.

The closure accommodates all standard conductor connectors including modular units and is fully compatible with blocking and re-enterable resin systems.

The ready access closure is available in a 4 cable entry format. The entry glands are moulded into the base and cable sealing is effected by means of heatshrink tubing. The closure can be equipped with
optical fibre splice organisers accommodating up to 24 splices.
